Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a Plunge Pool cost?

Since every Australian backyard is different, it’s nearly impossible to give an accurate quote for installation without doing a site inspection first. Things like soil quality, easements, and access can have a big impact on the cost of installation.

What pool shapes do you offer?

We offer both, fibreglass and precast concrete plunge pools. While custom pools require more time and planning, precast moulds can be installed within days. Fill out the form below to get a quote for your preferred pool size.

Do you offer above ground plunge pools?

Yes, you have the option to install our pools either fully above ground, fully in ground, or partially in ground – it’s totally up to you!

Is a fence required around an above ground pool?

If the pool is installed 1.2m above ground, you may be able to use some of the external pool wall as part of your pool fence. By utilizing the external pool wall, you can add an extra layer of protection to your pool area. You will always need to provide a fence at the point of entry to the pool and the skimmer box.

How often do you change water in the pool?

As a general guide, you should drain the water in your plunge pool every 3 years – but it’s always best to get your water checked by a professional at your local pool shop on a regular basis. This helps ensure that your water is balanced and healthy for both you and your family.

How long does the pump need to run for on my Plunge Pool?

The pump on your should run for 1.8 hours a day.

What's your warranty?

We offer a seven year structural, manufacturers warranty with every pool.

What to consider before buying a plunge pool?

Plunge pools are a great way to cool off in the summer heat, but before you start shopping around, you need to take a look at your backyard and figure out where you would want to put it. Plunge pools come in different shapes and sizes, so you need to decide if you want a round, rectangular or customized pool, and what size would fit best in your space. Keep in mind that you’ll also need to leave room for decking or patio space around the pool.

Will I need a crane for the installation?

In many instances, our crane truck can lift the pool into place. The truck generally has to be able to get within one meter of the pool’s location to be able to lift it.

What is the best surface for a pool?

In order to avoid damaging your Plunge Pool, it is essential that the base is 100mm thick, level, and compacted. If the base is not level, it could crack – and that’s not covered under warranty.

Can you install pool heating?

We recommend electric heat pumps as an optional upgrade for your pool. They can save you money in the long run and help keep your pool at a comfortable temperature.

Can I use tank water to fill my pool?

Yes, our plunge pools can be filled with tank water.

What chemical system should I use?

There are a wide variety of products that can be used to sanitize plunge pools. We recommend two different chemical options: magnesium, which is a natural sanitizer, or Crystal Waters, which is chlorine-, bromine-, and odor-free. For more information on both systems, please contact us via the contact form below.

Do you offer magnesium?
